Why 15th Club requires access to the Health app on Apple Watch

Modified on Fri, 5 Sep at 5:15 AM

For 15th Club to work properly on your Apple Watch, granting access to the Apple Health app is a mandatory step. This access ensures a smooth and seamless experience while using the app on your watch.

To grant access:

  1. Open system settings on your phone > Apps > Health > Data Access & Devices.
  2. Choose '15th Club' app.
  3. Allow '15th Club' to write workouts.

By allowing access to Health, the Apple Watch app works more reliably and efficiently, and it can utilize its built-in GPS for accurate distances and shot tracking.

Optional: If you prefer not to save your workouts to Apple Health, you can disable this feature. To do so:

  1. Complete your round as usual by opening the menu in the upper right corner > Finish round.
  2. On the round summary screen, uncheck the box that saves the round to Apple Health before saving:

Following these steps ensures the app functions correctly on your Apple Watch while giving you control over what data is shared with Apple Health.
